Hindle & Jepson Chartered Accountants was established circa 1870 by Thomas Hindle of Darwen. As the business grew during the period of industrialisation, John Hacking Jepson entered into partnership with Thomas Hindle forming Hindle & Jepson. The business has always been located in the heart of Darwen town centre, moving to its present location at 10 Borough Road in the 1930’s. Subsequent partners have included three generations of the Jepson family and the firm is now owned and managed by its current partners Craig Smith and David Wilson. |
Hindle & Jepson have always sought to make available a wide range of relevant services to its clients and for many years provided independent financial advice through the accountancy practice. Following more recent expansion of the financial services division of the practice, Hindle & Jepson Financial Service Ltd was incorporated in 2005 which also operates from Borough Road. For over 30 years we have also operated an Agency on behalf of the Halifax providing a full range of banking facilities to Halifax customers. We have a strong reputation for providing a friendly, professional service to our clients which we have established over many years and we look forward to advising and helping our clients and future generations in the same way. |
